Tech and Narrative Lab Residency
This hybrid seminar and project‑based residency provides students with structured time and guidance to pursue independent, experimental work at the intersection of policy and emerging technology. Emphasizing exploration and method development, students design and execute projects that investigate new analytical approaches, data sets, or dissertation‑related topics.
The course focuses on research design, prototyping, and skill acquisition, complemented by documentation and narrative presentation of processes and outcomes. Through iterative pitching, experimentation, and peer critique, students learn to frame policy problems, refine methods, and communicate evolving work effectively. By the end, they gain depth and versatility in experimental policy analysis and research development.
Note: This course is only open to MPhil/PhD students.
