RAND School Faculty

RAND School faculty are active RAND researchers and policy experts working on real-world challenges in areas such as health care, national security, and technology policy. They are not only your instructors, but also your mentors inside and outside the classroom. All teaching faculty hold regular office hours—at least one hour per week—either in person or virtually, to support student learning and engagement.

The list below includes RAND School faculty who are currently teaching courses. As a student, you will also work with many other RAND experts who hold the title Professor of Policy Analysis. These faculty members may serve on academic committees, lead independent studies, or mentor students on applied policy research projects. Even if they are not listed here, they play an important role in supporting students and supervising applied policy work connected to ongoing research.
