The Master of Policy Analysis at the RAND School is designed for students who want to become skilled consumers and users of policy analysis—able to understand how analysis is produced, assess its quality, and apply it to real-world decisions—without pursuing a research-intensive degree.

Through this one-year program, you will:

• Interpret and critically evaluate policy research and data
• Understand economic reasoning and tradeoffs in public decisionmaking
