Degrees Conferred
Degrees conferred by the RAND School include
- Ph.D. in Policy Analysis
- M.Phil. in Policy Analysis
- Master of Policy Analysis
- Master of National Security Policy
- Master of Technology Policy.
Concurrent degree programs also available combining two master's degrees.
Matriculation
Programs are offered in-person, beginning in fall term. Master of Policy Analysis, Master of National Security Policy, and Master of Technology Policy students may choose to attend full-time or part-time.

Official Name
Our official name is The RAND School of Public Policy, commonly referred to as the RAND School. We were previously known as the Pardee RAND Graduate School and, originally, the RAND Graduate Institute.
Dean
Nancy Staudt is the Frank and Marcia Carlucci Dean of the RAND School of Public Policy and Vice President at RAND.
Locations
Our campus locations include Santa Monica, CA and Arlington, VA. Students work with researchers across RAND.
Accreditation
We are accredited by WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), through 2030. The RAND School is certified to operate in Virginia by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV).
