Introduction to Quantitative Analysis

This course provides students with a foundation in quantitative methods essential for evidence-based policy research. Students examine core concepts in statistical inference, data collection, and causal analysis while applying these techniques to real-world policy questions across social, economic, and institutional contexts.

The course introduces practical tools for data management and analysis using statistical software and emphasizes interpretation and communication of results for decision making. Through hands-on exercises and a capstone data project, students develop proficiency in using quantitative evidence to inform policy evaluation and research design.
