Cybersecurity

This course examines how cyberattacks shape critical policy domains—from Great Power Competition and healthcare to consumer protection and emerging technologies—and how organizations and governments build resilience in response. Students analyze the development and impact of cyber incidents, exploring decision-making processes, institutional incentives, and risk management frameworks.

Through case studies and interactive exercises, the course investigates threat landscapes, defensive strategies, and the policy mechanisms that enable or impede effective response. By the end, students apply policy analysis and operational insight to design and evaluate cybersecurity policies grounded in real-world implementation and strategic resilience.
