Cyber Policy

This course introduces the global landscape of cybersecurity policy and its intersection with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Students examine comparative policy approaches across regions—evaluating the strategic, regulatory, and operational frameworks of the United States, Russia, China, North Korea, Europe, and others. Using case studies, the course analyzes how governments and private industry formulate and implement cyber strategies in response to evolving risks.

In its second half, students explore future policy challenges related to AI integration, workforce capacity, standards development, and international collaboration. By the end, students apply policy analysis tools to assess cyber governance and global security coordination.
