Title IX at the RAND School
The RAND School of Public Policy is committed to providing an education and employment environment that is free from sex and gender-based discrimination. Consistent with its commitment to addressing sex and gender-based discrimination, the school complies with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs and activities, including in admissions and employment.

Sex discrimination, including sexual harassment, is prohibited by the school and may result in serious disciplinary action (in the student’s capacity as a student and as a RAND employee), up to and including expulsion from the program and termination of employment. This applies to conduct involving a student, whether the conduct occurred on or off campus.
Any person may report sex discrimination, including sexual harassment, whether or not the person reporting is the person alleged to be the victim of conduct that could constitute sex discrimination or sexual harassment.
Reports may be made in person, by email, mail, telephone, Teams message, a call using the contact information listed for the Title IX Coordinator, or by any other means that results in the Title IX Coordinator receiving the oral or written report.
Reports may be made at any time (including during nonbusiness hours) by email, mail, or voicemail using the Title IX Coordinator’s contact information.
